The managing broker is an active investor. Agents at the firm get the opportunity to co-broker on deals we are sourcing. Where accreditation and deal fit align, agents may also participate as LPs in syndications.
Every property we sell to an absentee or out-of-state owner is a potential management contract for our affiliated firm, Verterra Property Management. Agents who refer management or leasing business receive 25 percent of Verterra’s earnings on that account for the first twelve months. The same applies in reverse — Verterra clients who decide to sell come back through brokerage, and the originating agent has first-look representation.
Work from anywhere in your licensed state. Biweekly one-on-one with the managing broker. Quarterly all-hands. We are not a daily-stand-up firm. We are also not a fend-for-yourself firm.
E&O insurance, legal and compliance infrastructure, brand, marketing collateral, and the operational systems are handled. You bring your laptop, your phone, and your book of business.
We are selective about who we bring on for the same reason we are selective about engagements — the model works only when every person at the firm contributes at a senior level. We do not publish a GCI floor. We do filter on production track record and the producer’s willingness to work as a principal, not a passenger.
